Empowering Refugee Voices Through Access

The Refugee Communities Association of Australia (RCAA) is committed to ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent members of refugee and multicultural communities from participating in our Second National Conference. The RCAA Conference Scholarship Program is made possible through the generous support of our sponsors and partners who share our commitment to building inclusive, empowered refugee communities across Australia.

About the Scholarship Program

The scholarship program provides financial support to cover travel and/or conference registration costs for delegates with lived experience and refugee backgrounds who would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial constraints.
There are two scholarship streams: 1. Local Scholarship Program (for South Australia) and 2. Interstate Scholarship Program (for other states and territories)
The number of scholarships in both streams is limited and each scholarship application will be assessed on a case-by-case basis considering merit and need.
